The right challenge at every stage

Children are placed with peers at a comparable stage. High-energy coaches bring enthusiasm, patience and experience to each session, turning a shy first day into a moment of real progress.

2 to 3 years

Short games build the first ball skills: pushing with both feet, trapping a slow roll, tapping at a target and scoring. Children also practice stepping away from caregivers and following simple directions.

3 to 4 years

Skill-building becomes more deliberate through cone dribbles, partner passes and a controlled first touch, still delivered through imaginative games. Children practice turn-taking, multi-step directions and handling small frustrations.

5 to 7 years

Kids build technical foundations through dribbling combinations, cleaner passing, dependable first touch and small-sided games with basic positions. Communication and teamwork become part of every session.

7 to 9 years

Technique and decision-making step up through combination moves, shooting mechanics, smarter spacing and quicker reads. Coaches also emphasize leadership, initiative and recovery after mistakes.

10 to 12 years

The oldest group works on ball mastery, finishing, positioning and faster game decisions. Competitive play has a real edge, while leadership, accountability and resilience remain central.

What to bring and what to expect

First class essentials

Every first-time student needs a Fit Soccer Kids jersey before their first class. You can purchase one individually, or select the Enrollment Package at checkout, which includes a jersey, soccer ball, socks, and a water bottle.

Before you leave

Pack your Fit Soccer Kids jersey (new joiners will receive their jersey the first day), comfortable athletic bottoms, venue-appropriate sneakers or cleats, and water. Fit Soccer Kids provides balls and program equipment. Your confirmation notes anything specific to the venue and season.

When you arrive

Plan to arrive about ten minutes early. The coach opens with a welcome, gets the group moving and builds the class around one skill focus, adjusting the challenge as children are ready.
