The right challenge at every stage
Kids are grouped with others at a similar stage, and each age works on skills matched to where they are physically and socially. The goal is to help every child feel capable, brave and proud to return.

18 mo to 2 years
First contact with the ball through movement play: chasing, kicking, rolling and stopping. Toddlers copy simple actions and build comfort moving with a coach and caregiver nearby.
2 to 3 years
Ball control starts through short, imaginative games: kicking with both feet, stopping a roll, tapping toward a target and scoring. Kids also practice independence, turn-taking and one-step or two-step directions.
3 to 4 years
Dribbling through cones, partner passing and a first controlled touch appear inside story-driven games. Children practice group play, multi-step directions and trying again after a missed kick.
5 to 7 years
Kids build technical foundations through dribbling combinations, passing accuracy, first touch and small-sided games. They also learn to communicate, support teammates and handle wins and losses.
7 to 9 years
Players sharpen technique and game sense through combination moves, shooting mechanics, spacing and quicker decisions. Leadership, resilience and taking initiative become part of the challenge.

What to bring and what to expect
Before you leave
Pack comfortable athletic clothes, sneakers or soft cleats, and a water bottle. Fit Soccer Kids provides balls and program equipment. The class confirmation lists anything specific to the venue.
When you arrive
Allow time for the train or walk plus about ten minutes, so your child can take in the space before class. The coach starts with a quick welcome, gets the group moving and builds the session around one clear skill.
